The traditional construction of this listed building involves the refurbishment and restoration of the existing church and includes major alterations to the structure forming a basement level and the creation of new upper floors.
Work started on site in March 2011 and completed in early 2013.
Mansell was awarded a £5 million contract to transform St Jude’s Church in South West London into a theological education centre.
We were hired to provide extensive specialist services. This comprehensive £5 million development included lecture rooms and a nursery in a newly excavated undercroft, a cafe and main lecture theatre on the ground floor, and a library above.
Removal of existing white paint in the nave revealed the impressive brickwork below.
